Facilities - Soil Management and Disposal

QM provides full-service capabilities for our clients’ soil management and disposal needs. As an experienced environmental contractor with over 20 years of industry experience, we can ensure that soil disposal is conducted in an appropriate manner and in accordance with all government regulatory requirements. When accepting or facilitating soil disposal, our environmental screening protocols ensures that our clients are not at risk of illegally dumping soil.

Fill Site Operation and Management

QM operates clean fill sites which employ rigorous environmental and geotechnical screening protocols to protect the land on which fill is being placed. We ensure that placed fill is both geotechnical and environmentally suitable for the proposed future land use (i.e. residential subdivision). We can work with landowners to develop a filling program and in many cases generate revenue for the landowner from charged tipping fees.

Clean Fill Disposal

We are always looking for fill procurement for various sites in the Metro Vancouver area.

Contaminated Soil

QM operates several soil bioremediation treatment facilities that treat and dispose of contaminated soils from a variety of commercial and industrial sites. Fully permitted, licensed and insured, each facility is carefully engineered and monitored to protect the surrounding environment, and to meet or exceed industry standards.

QM works closely with its clients to determine the most appropriate treatment method for each batch of soil and to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met. Soil treatment facilities are currently situated in Metro Vancouver, Duncan, Quesnel, and Williams Lake.

QM also maintains a database of permitted landfills and disposal sites. This expertise and knowledge base ensures that we can help find suitable and cost effective disposal solutions for your contaminated soil.
